The Computer Gate Information Technology Establishment was founded in 2009 as a Saudi establishment operating in the field of electronic equipment. In 2010, the CompuCar department specializing in diagnostic and programming devices and equipment for cars and vehicles began operation. In 2015, the establishment started supplying tools, equipment, and lifts for car maintenance through the Cars Gate branch of the Industrial Equipment Department, under its registered trademark CompuCar.

The Cars Gate (CompuCar) reflects the technological advancements in the field of cars and their maintenance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by providing the latest devices and equipment to maintenance centers, through partnerships with many of the largest manufacturers and developers of diagnostic devices and maintenance equipment. This close collaboration aims to improve and develop the equipment's quality based on customer feedback, reflected in the majority of CompuCar equipment obtaining compliance certificates with Saudi and European specifications.
